How do i improve my first long print
Sooo, im just happy i got through printing my longest print yet at 15hrs.
What adjustments do i make to make this look better?
Im just trying to remember what settings were used in prusa slicer. I did not touch any setting except for scaling to 250 and supports = bed.
Prusament PLA
infill:15%
Filament: .20
Prusa PLA profile
Thanks in advance
RE: How do i improve my first long print
and how do i post pictures so that i do not have to click a link? do i have to it hosted somewhere and not directly upload the picture? again my thanks.
RE: How do i improve my first long print
What exactly do you want to improve? Visible artefacts? Maybe you can experiment with the 'Ironing' feature in the current PrusaSlicer release candidate 2.3.0-rc1 to get a smoother finish.

@avh
there are some swirling artifacts on the last layers on the face/forehead area
thanks for the ironing suggestion.. i don't think i have that version installed... i will have to check again. will using .1 layer height also help?
RE: How do i improve my first long print
It might help to get some extra detail, but the print will take longer as well.
RE: How do i improve my first long print
I might suggest trying a lower layer height, and maybe you should look into trying variable layer height, particularly on the high spots on the model's forehead.

Shoot i wish i knew this before i printed.. this is what i was looking for but would know how to describe it in writing that readers would understand. Thank you!

@bapski
Still a good print. You will learn a little with each one.
