Hot End Temp not reading correctly

Hello,

I recently converted my MK3s back to it's original set up after fighting with what was a well working MMU2s for a few months.

My problem is the hot end is not reaching the temperature that the Themistor is saying. The read out was saying 215c and the IR thermometer I have is reading 55c. I have tried a new two thermistors but same problem. Is my Einsy board going? Really don't want to be throwing money at this printer right now.

Thanks

The measurement with the IR-thermometer does not provide an exact result. Just try loading a PLA filament. If it is extruded correctly and the hotend is not clogged, everything seems to be in order. Otherwise your heating cartdridge or thermistor is not working properly.

Very important: Flash the right firmware, MK3 and MK3S has different FW. Maybe you must do a factory reset after flashing.
