Help strange issue - Poor x-axis on left hand side only?

Hi,

I have an odd issue that has developed recently. I have been printing this simple loop which is basically an open rectangle. On the left hand side I get the stringing in the first photo. On the right hand side it is perfect as are the top and bottom.

I am thinking it is some sort of x-axis problem but I have done all the obvious stuff like re-calibrated, checked tension, oiled the rods etc. Printing with PETG using pretty standard settings in PrusaSlicer.

Any ideas what the issue could be?

Thanks in advance!

Ok - so as soon as you post, you think.... "I will try one lasts thing".... turns out the small screws on the x-axis motor pulley (the one where it attaches to the flat part) had come loose so was experiencing slippage. Weird it seemed to only affect the side nearer it but tightened them up and back to prusa perfection!

Posting here in case anybody else ever sees the same thing and avoid wasting a day trying to figure it out! Obvious in hindsight.

You have saved my day!

I have assembled MK3 + kit and i tried all calibrations an do not have clue where is the problem.

But it was with screws on X and Y motors! I simply mounted it too slightly.
