Help! I don’t know what’s causing this
I don’t know what is causing this and I’m printing with matterhacker petg, printing at 240 degrees hotend and 90 print bed 100 speed fan speed 100, flow 95. The picture is bad quality but the first layer has a bunch of bumps in it
RE: Help! I don’t know what’s causing this
It's really hard to tell what we're supposed to be looking at in that picture.
But as a general rule, if you are having problems with your first layer, odds are that you need to adjust your Live Z.
RE: Help! I don’t know what’s causing this
i agree; check z-axis 1st-layer adjust and bed-flatness. Thats the most reason for such problems!
240/90 for PETG could be ok. I'm printing with Prusa PETG 230/85 degree -> first class results.
By the way, there is nothing to see in your picture...

RE: Help! I don’t know what’s causing this
First layer is causing oils on the bed to boil off lifting the extrusions.
Soap and water wash the bed to remove the millions of finger prints showing on the unprinted areas and then try again. Adjusting Live-Z up a few dozen microns might be needed, but it's impossible to tell with all the finger prints.
RE: Help! I don’t know what’s causing this
Hm. It hasn't happened in a while but I might just need to clean my bed like you said
RE: Help! I don’t know what’s causing this
Finger prints are our nemesis: they cause all sorts of print problems, and PLA is especially sensitive; but even PETG can have issues.
