Ground plate messy - first time this problem
Hi everybody,
I am printing now for several years (not much though) and now facing a problem I never had before.
The ground plate of an object I wanted to print keeps printing messy and I have to stop the print...
I basically use the Prusa PLA Standard settings, just some differences:
Prusa PLA filament,
First row: Nozzle 215, Bed 65
Rest: Nozzle 210, Bed 60
The print is being done in my garage - around 14 degrees but the 3d printer is inside a server cabinet - I warm it up before the print.
A poor first layer and losing adhesion on a printer that has been running OK for a long time ... How old is the nozzle?
Wear does mean recalibrating the first layer 'Z' offset from time to time but dragging the later layers suggests it may be time for a new one.
Cheerio,
RE: Ground plate messy - first time this problem
Just rechecked everything before another try - I was using PETG Filament instead of PLA :-). Now it works fine again... Sorry for bothering you guys...
