Gaps around edges

Hi,

I've recently put together my i3 MK3S+ kit, and have tried several prints from those included on the SD and some from other sources using PrusaSlicer. Most/all prints have a noticable gap around the edges, with the edges/walls sometimes appearing out of position.

I'm using the Prusament PLA that came with the kit, and have not tested with other filament.

I'm assuming its an issue with the way I built it, but not sure where to check. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

RE: Under extrusion

This is under extrusion.  You may have your idler too loose or a partial jam.

Offset and timeout

You also have a z offset that is too high.

We can't see 1st layer on photo, so what makes you thinking that?

Tightening the idler

Thanks for the replies.

I tightened the idler a fair bit, but the issue is still present (see below). Is there such a thing as over tightening the idler? Should I keep tightening?

Also, I made the z offset lower too, but not sure if it made a difference. What should I be looking for here?

Thanks again.
