First print of sample files

Hi,

I’m brand new to this and I’m making my first prints from the samples supplied on the SD card using Prusa PLA.

I think I’ve set the first layer Z offset ok as the prints are not moving and take some effort to remove.

I’ve attached an image of the Prusa logo file which is quite messy.

I haven’t changed any parameters and I was hoping being a sample it would work out of the box.

Image below:

any help appreciated.

Thank you.

As a follow up here is a partly printed Benchy.

I think I have a way to go!

Thank you.

What did you do to your PEI sheet?? Or did you buy a used prusa printer it it looked like this from the beginning?

Do not use gcodes from SD card or downloads, slice the objects yourself and use prusa slicer: 0.2 mm quality / correct filament (or generic) / original printer profile

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.
