First print issues

Hello,

I am ner to 3D printing and Prusa mk3s KIT is my first printer. After assembly I did this ship from gcode from SD card and PLA material.

Please make me some advice how to improve the quality of the print.

The second was some funnel. It was printed with prusaslicer 0,2mm PLA quality setup.

How can I get rid of the smale bumps?

RE: First print issues

Looks like near perfect prints to me. Some artifacts on the Benchy sides possibly related to belt tension. From the extrusion point of view i can not see issues.

The bumps you see on the funnel are the seam positions. You can not get rid of them, though you can play with the seam position in your slic3r settings. This will only vary the position of such seam but not get rid of them.

Random seams is probably the worst setting. On circular layers, nearest will still be semi-random, and rear lines the seams up in a nice column.

You can play with how seams are built using several additional settings in Plicer - but they affect other aspects of printing, too.  Get some experience using Plicer and the printer, become aware of some of the "normal" 3D print oddities, the vocabulary, and once you get the major areas of tuning completed (belt tension, print speeds, temperatures), then working on seams will become easier.

It seems to me that the z-distance migth improve a little bit maybe taking it a bit closer to the bed (-20, -30.. ?) but not really sure, although first layer seems to me a bit loose
