First Layer
I'm working on printing out the Ikea Lack enclosure posted on the prusaprinter.org site. This small feature keeps peeling up on me:
I've toyed with the Live Z, and I'm getting great results on larger pieces. If I go farther away, nothing sticks, if I get closer, and get totally wonky and weird first layers. I've cleaned the bed between every print, (and I've done less than a dozen prints). Other than printing it on a raft (getting away from rafts was one of the reasons I finally spent decent money on a printer) is there anything else I can try to increase adhesion?

If PLA, generally a brim is a good way to increase adhesion. A 10-line brim will really help with those narrow parts (although I'm still curious why PLA is peeling up like that on a part shaped that way).

I bet you have cleaned the heatbed a several times.
Every time i had "problems" to get PLA stick to the bed, it was just a quick cleaning with dish washing liquid.
Isopropyl and Acetone did not work.
But every time i cleaned with dish washing liquid, i was able to print many many parts without even wiping with isopropyl.
So maybe you wanne give it a try.

When I have problems like this I usually add a brim (maybe 3/4 lines) and if that doesn't work then I resort to the glue stick that came with your printer. Don't forget to wash off the glue stick with a little water when you're done. 🙂

Calibration-> Bed Level Correct
For some reason, mesh bed leveling doesn't fix a tilted bed. That does, though the adjustment range is too small.
