First Build

I just finished building my new MK3 kit and I have to say that the process was FLAWLESS! The instructions were incredible (actually prompted me to go through my own company's instructions and improve them all). All of the parts were there and everything fit exactly like it was supposed to. I was printing like a pro right from the first part and now have a few dozen (including a couple 14+ hour) successful PLA and PETG prints. The only problem I had was that my kids devoured the Haribos long before I got to that step. 🙂

I also got to test out the power failure recovery mode first hand when one of my kids stepped on the surge protector and shut off the printer's power 6 hours into a print that I needed to have done the next morning. I panicked but remembered reading about the power failure recovery so I gave it a shot. It worked PERFECTLY and saved the day!!

Very well done Prusa!!!!!!

I guess I do have one small problem though. My LCD screen has a small missing patch right on top of the hour section of the time remaining. Is there any way to fix that or do I need a new LCD? I emailed Prusa last week but have not received a reply yet. It is not a deal-breaker, for sure, but would nice to know if I had 3:43 left or 6:43 left.
