First boot calibration unable to load filament properly
I have finished the self test and XYZ calibration without issue, however when I was directed to load the pla filament (6.3.8) it loads partially but then starts clicking loudly and nothing extrudes. It looks like the filament pushing gears are twisting some, but then bounce back to their initial position. Nothing has ever been extruded (New printer), but I did check the nozzle with acupuncture needle and it appears that it is clean/clear of debris.
I'm a complete noobie to 3d printing so not sure what my next step in debugging should be, any help would be greatly appreciated.

undoo the two screws that hold the extruder idler doors until the heads stick out on the left hand side, by about 1mmand try again!

I loosened it and it is no longer clicking, however it is still failing to extrude. It looks (based on where the teeth marks in the PLA are) that its getting fed in post bonditech about 55 mm. (It looks like this would put it somewhere mid-heatsink?)

Just tested it again with the acupuncture needle now that the nozzle has cooled down and it looks like my initial test was mistaken. The needle goes in fine almost all the way, but about a millimeter from the hilt it hits something and can't go up further. This looks to be about the same place that the pla is getting stuck on from the other side, about 1/3 of the way into the heatsink from the top.

Hmmmm... there shouldn't be anything in there...
have you tried loosening the bontech's completely and poking a 1.5mm alen key down from the top?
Would be best if you could heat the extruder, and remove the nozzle then anything you dislodge should come right out

I don't have an alen key long enough to get to the blockage, but I did loosen the gears fully and try feeding some pla down by hand and there does indeed seem to be some sort of blockage in that area. I don't have the ability to remove the nozzle currently (From trying to fit things, it looks like my 9/32 fits it the best, but the only instrument that I have to turn it is my coordless drill. (I'm guessing this is not going to give enough dexterity and control to safely extract the nozzle without damaging anything, and even with heat resistant gloves it will be to hot to turn. )
What temperature will I need to have it heated to, and do you have any recommendations for tools to perform the switch?

Took apart the entire hot end assembly and it turns out that between the heatbreak and the PTFE tube there was a small piece of black plastic lodged in the hole. I am guessing by material and size/shape that it probably fell out of the bowden fitting on the hotend during assembly. I removed this piece, and reassembled everything both the logo and the benchy printed without any noticeable problems.
I haven't interacted with them so not sure what their views on it are, but does the prusa support like to be informed about issues like this in case others run into the problem?
