Filament stuck in extruder
Hi all!
I got some filament stuck in the extruder, and followed Method #1 from this article: https://help.prusa3d.com/article/removing-filament-from-extruder-manually_121491
The filament was still stuck, and the first article led me to this one about how to remove the PTFE tube: https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/how-to-replace-a-hotend-ptfe-tube-mk3s-mk3s-mk2-5s-mmu2s_21664
I successfully removed the PTFE tube, however it seems the filament was in fact touching the hot end, so I still can't remove the filament. I am not sure why I wasn't able to push it through using Method #1 that I referenced earlier. This is the situation I am left with - what should I do from here? Thank you!

If heating up and pushing or pulling doesn't work unscrew heat block

Thanks for the response! I wasn't sure if turning the printer on when it was in this state was acceptable or not - still new to 3d printing.
I did just as you said and heated the nozzle and pulled it out. Thanks again!
