Re: filament sensor wiring error

Hello,
we made the first printing and printing was going ok. We made our first PRUSA sign, but today printer has a problem with the filament which can not go through. The wheels are not catching the filament and they do not push it through.
We made a selfcheck and it says that everything is OK. Even the head is "printing" or going the ordered form, but no filement is coming through.
What do you think seems to be a probolem?
Do you have any videlo how to solve this?
We would really like to start using 3D Prusa and after so many start up problems we are running out of our patience.
Hope to get some good and usefull instructions from you soon.
BR,
Andreja

Re: filament sensor wiring error

Hey,
Only by reading your post, here what I can come up with:

Filament is not driven, looks like the gears are not set in motion. Here are several hypothesis that you should check :
- is the motor spinning ? (you can see if it is spinning at the back, see this for an example -> https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2638857 )
- are the E motor wires properly set in the main board ?
- did you connect the proper motor ?

I think you should are more details/pics/videos to help understand the problem more precisely.

And unfortunately, you need a lot of patience when building your own kit ! I think that's why they propose fully assembled/tested machines 😉
