Filament repeating to ask for remove / reload before printing

I assembled my MK3s kit-set printer, all seems to be working, it extruded a big wavy pattern, but when I load a sample, after calibration the printer asks to remove filament, then reload filament, restarts are repeat the same process.

Fail stats show filament run out, but it has not.

Something wrong with a filament sensor maybe? Can anybody point me in the right direction?

How do I search problems in this forum as the main search searches the web site.  Thanks, Gerard

Printing and calibration all show ok, nozzle height adjustments as per '3D Printing Handbook V3.14' page 26 all done, no issues with filament loading. Then loading the Prusa logo file (or any other), the printer calibrates, then moves up and to the right asking to

- remove filament, load filament, recalibrates

and repeats the same action over and over again; no model is printed.

turn your filament sensor off. and see if the problem goes away. if it does,  check out your filament sensor wiring, instalation etc. try searching on filament sensor in the forum...there are many threads on the subject.

I try to make safe suggestions,You should understand the context and ensure you are happy that they are safe before attempting to apply my suggestions, what you do, is YOUR responsibility. Location Halifax UK
