Filament Extrusion Test Failure - Hot End Too High

High, I finished the assembly and started the new user guide video. WHen testing the filament, where you can adjust the 'squish' I noticed that the Hot End is way too high and the filament is just laying down onto the heat bed. Metal sheet is installed.

Check that the PINDA is 1 mm higher than the nozzle.
If you have accidentally placed the PINDA lower than the nozzle, you can never calibrate the height correctly.

The PINDA is definitely higher, just ran the test again and seem to have some squish. Its not sticking though on the zig zag line before it does the smaller zig zag test?

When I get home I'll post a picture.

I ran the PRUSA logo test print and apart from the first few layers,  couldn’t stay to watch it print.

When I came back it had finished and seems to have printed ok apart from at the end some over extrusion on the last letter and it seems to have come off of the heat bed by itself? This is how I found it.

That was the over extruded bit, here’s the rest. Maybe it popped off when the bed cooled down?

In your first picture, I see that you should lower the nozzle a little bit more. Your Skirt line should be more smeared.
To what Z level have you adjusted your nozzle now?

Try lowering the nozzle a little more. For example. to -1.100 or -1.125 to see if it gets better.
Also show with a picture of what the first layer looks like. Feel free to use the attached file (PLA).
And do not forget to clean the bed from dirt and fingerprints with warm water and detergent.

Z Offset is now -1.02mm and seems to be adhering ok, but now on the lastest print I have some really bad X Shift? 

In the image you can see how at certain points the filament protrudes on one side (the left) and goes in on the right.

learn about live z.  As your print starts, click the button on your control panel.  You'll see "adjust live Z" - scroll down to that with the knob, when on that choice, click the knob.  Now you are in live Z adjust mode.  Negative numbers mean closer - the more negative (counter clockwise) to get closer.  Be aggressive - it only moves the head 1/100 mm per # changed.  Move them ten, 20 at a time till you start seeing the squish you want.  If it starts getting ripply like water - you went to far.

If your Z level now is -1.02 mm, then you have adjusted the nozzle up and not down to the values I suggested.
Adjust the height as @Dan Rogers writes in his post.
The brim edge of your photos clearly shows that the Z level is too high.
If you print the detail 75x75x0.2mm.zip that I attached earlier, it will show what your important first layer looks like.
A perfect print must not have any gaps or holes, the surface must be smooth and a little glossy.

Remember that the thickness of the first layer should be 0.2 mm.
It's about the thicknes of two office papers!

The problem with layer shift is caused by something coming loose.
Check that the pulley wheel on the motor shaft is properly mounted, that the belt tension is OK and that the X and Y units can move freely.
Then show us a picture of what your first layer looks like (75x75x0.2mm.zip).

For the shifts,

Check all bolts on the printer.

Check grub screws if they are not loose.

Belts to loose.

Shutdown printer, move axis by hand(slowly, this is to prevent making power by moving parts, and damage your printer), feel if it moves freely.

To get a good print , learn to make a first layer, and make pictures for the forum, then the forum can help.

2 things are needed to get a good print:

1. clean bed, use dish soap and a lot of hot water(do this several times), this the best way to clean the bed.

Yes you can use alcohol in between, but every few print use dish soap.

2. First layer needs to be 100% correct.

Both settings are for sticking to the bed, and to get a print higher up in the model.

This also prevents the big ball of filament sticking to the nozzle, or a big plate of spagetty on the bed.
