Extruder wont go past 140 degree
After upgrading to R3 extruder, and also replacing long Teflon tube inside extruder, and replacing nozzle, MK3 will not heat extruder beyond 140 degrees, then reports PREHEAT ERROR. I have been cleared for replacement heat block, but seriously, any idea what is going on? Fails at 140 degrees each time? Also I reflashed firmware even.
EDIT: I will add that I was quite literally as careful as humanly possible as I had already read many people had broken wires handling the heatblock.
Re: Extruder wont go past 140 degree
As warranty replacement is in the mail I shall close this with the conclusion that somehow the heat block failed as there is no other possibility, like software or other electronics. The fact that the thermistor still reports a temp apparently means it can only be the heat block that failed.
