Extruder motor hot

Hey fellow makers/printers

I just built my MK3S last week, no major issue so far, 3D benchy print is smooth, no ghosting, ...

I recently noticed that the extruder motor get's really hot during the print, at least hotter that the bed, judging the difference only with the back of my fingers. Is that normal ?

Thanks for the help

RE: Extruder motor hot

I'm experiencing the same thing on my just-completed build. I went looking at the issue you mentioned ( https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware/issues/1757 ) and see that one hypothesis is that it's a bad motor. I'll try contacting support this weekend and see what they say.
