Error bed temp in cold garage tips
Just a little heads up and maybe helpful for some, been damn cold here lately, and in the garage even colder, so was not able to fire up the printer, as was getting error bed temp all the time, so I overcame this buy just stealing the wifes hairdryer and giving the inside of my case a good blow for 2 or 3 minutes and was then able to heat up the bed, suppose at some stage I might install a mini heater in the case. 😀

I have the same issue, I find placing a thick piece of carboard on top the bed when pre-heating stops the temp error just remember to preheat only then load g-code.
RE: Error bed temp in cold garage tips
Making a cup of tea and placing it on the bed with the steel sheet removed usually heats it up enough to meet min temp. Its the more civilised way 🙂

@neophyl
That would be civilized. Tea and Crumpets, anyone? I just wish I could get decent clotted cream in the US.
