Can someone help what caused this noise?
My printer have some noise when it print on the middle and first half of the bed. At the backside of the bed the noise is much less.
I think it’s caused by the rods or maybe the bearings. I try to more and les thighten the u-bolts on the bearings but don’t solve.
Can someone tell me what caused this sound and how I solve it?

Re: Can someone help what caused this noise?
Hello,
your problem is well known. I could create the same video from my printer. He is less than 3 months in operation. For me, the right, single linear bearing makes the noise on the y-axis. So far, I have not been able to determine any issue in printing. It is helpful to increase the tension of the y-belt and to switch to the stealth mode. Also some high temp. grease can help for some time.
I will soon be switching to high-quality Misumi components (high temp. bearings and rods are already ordered). Let's see if it reduces the noise.

Re: Can someone help what caused this noise?
With the new components, the noise is not lower! But I could find one of the worst causes. Inside the PSU, components vibrate.
To test this, temporarily remove the 4 fixing screws and put the PSU loosely beside the printer, just connected to the wires.
I will need to contact the Prusa support for a solution.
Further vibrating noises are produced by the Einsy case and its door as well as the LCD housing. However, these are not as annoying as the noise from the PSU.

Re: Can someone help what caused this noise?
I can confirm PSU rattles are pretty annoying on my Mk3 - I just tightened most of the screws hoping I don't have to tear the PSU apart to fix the noises. And they are mechanical rattles, holding the PSU tightly quiets it down.
Re: Can someone help what caused this noise?
I tried to make the screws firmer or looser. Unfortunately unsuccessful. The rattle comes from inside the case. Since I have almost 2 years warranty, I hope for the Prusa support.
