Blobs during print, bad layers

Hi, recently I started to have a problem during the print. It makes random blobs and I have no idea how to fix it. I have calibrated the first layer and adjusted the Z height but it still occurs in the random spots. Do you know any reason for that and a solution?

Check first layer , one object has holes in it, is this the first layer?

Make photo of the first layer so we can look at it.

Try to print with higher/lower temperature.

Check in prusaslicer, import stl, then activate support only on bed, look if model is flat on the bottom, a few weeks in the past i had a model that would not print, because it was not flat on the bottom

Zoom more in on the bed.

RE: Blobs during print, bad layers

seems like i gave the same problem as TO when printing multiple objects at once.
Just assembled my mk3s kit, the benchy test and my first two prints (basically the same covid-hook as you can see on photo) were almost perfect, but when i try to print 6-8 objects at the same time my prints keep failing.
After 10-15 layers a blob suddenly appears and causes crashes and shifting.

I also noticed, that extruder motor was pretty hot (could touch it for 2-3 seconds, but it was already to hot to keep my finger on it,  ~ 26 C° ambient temp).

Testing with Simplify 3D:

  • printing one single object succeeded
  • printing multiple objects over USB failed
  • printing multiple objects from SD failed
  • printing multiple objects from Repetier Server failed

I let it cool down, added some fans and now i'm testing Prusa Slicer with 0,2mm speed setting:

  • printing one single object succeeded
  • printing multiple objects from repetier server - currently in progress.

@p-pasierbinski how are the ambient temps in your room?

cheers

RE: Blobs during print, bad layers

I'm not sure what material you are printing with but it looks like you need to do a first layer calibration if that is indeed the first layer. It looks like the bed is uneven. Have you double checked your bed without the spring steel sheet on? I had to take the spring steel sheet off and check the PINDA probe because that turned out to be my issue. Then you can rerun the first layer test and go from there. I had a weird issue where I couldn't get anything to stick to one area on the plate.
