Belt rubs X-End-Motor printed part

I've been trying to get my Mk3 assembled, and have run into a major issue. the X axis belt rubs/binds against the printed part regardless how far back I have the GT2-16 pulley placed on the motor shaft. I'm hoping I just goofed up something in the install sequence and it's not some weird flaw with parts.

The X carriage will not move smoothly with the belt attached regardless what I do. I'm about to try adding in some M3 nuts to space the motor back farther, but am concerned with causing other issues by doing that.

Here are some pictures, it's kind of hard to tell what is going on, but the part is interfering with the belt so much that the belt is deflecting to an almost 45° angle.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Hi Jason,

I couldn't see the photos.
the most common issue with the X motor, is the toothed wheel being installed with the hub and screw towards the motor!

It should be towards the end of the shaft!

aaaahhh! pictures just openned and YES your toothed wheel is on back to front!

Well yeah, that would fix it! so sad that I didn't figure that out! the images *should* show up now, forgot dropbox messed with the way they do shared links.

I even just went back through the install guide, yep, sure enough I reversed it!

THANK YOU!!!!! Maybe I'll be getting a print out tonight!
