im just going to try to slow it down a little. see if that helps

Slowing down does not help here. I suggest you do a better calibration of the Z level.
You need to lower the Z level more so that the filament is smeared against the bed.
But first wash the bed with detergent and warm water, wipe the surface with paper.

thanks for the reply. indeed slowing it hasnt done much atall.i will have a go at lowering and cleaning, thankyou
