Bed Level Correction ( Factory assembled)

Hi dear community,

this is my first topic, i decided to start in english, because it seems, that this community is the biggest (of course). The documentary in german is very good so I was not sure, what is the best language to start. 🙂

Second, I want to say, that my printer (MK3S+) is working very good. I unpacked it, did the first start wizard and just printed Marvin from the SD-card. The result was very good.

Afterwards I moved the printer to the final position and started the wizard from the menu (as recommended, when changing the position). I struggled with the bed level correction until I got nice prints again. My current setting is now -1,5.

My question ist: I didn't had to set that bed level correction before the first print, is there any way to find out this information? On the "receipt" which is included on delivery its not written down. And I think every time I do the calibration, this value gets lost.

I didn't even know there was a manual setting.  I enabled mesh bed leveling (automatic software compensation).  The 7x7 mesh bed leveling detects minor leveling issues in the print bed.  For main bed level, I just used a real bubble level (small liquid filled tool for detecting how level) - and leveled the print bed by shimming the thing it sits on.

Never did that option, but I think all others 🙂

Here is my bed level test, looks for me ok?

As you also see, I damaged my bed on one spot. This was an over night print with wrong bed level. But I tested that point with prints and it seems to make no problems.
