Axis Length X error during first calibration

I just built the printer, followed the steps to the letter, updated the firmware, and I can't get past "Axis Length X error".

No obstructions. Belt tension seems to have appropriate resistance. No zip ties hitting the sides. Moving the axis X manually shows freedom of moment along entire X axis. I'm at a loss

Other than the zip tie clasps, other usual suspects...

1. Wire that is sticking beyond surfaces of extruder body.

2. Left print fan mounting screws not in fully and sticking out far enough to block full leftward movement.

3. Overly tight belt tension. Should only take out slack, not STRETCH the belt.

Are both of the X axis rod all the way home? If you look down from above and up from below (god bless mobile phone cameras) there is a little cut out hole that lets you see the end of the rods. Page 8 of 12 in the Assembly Instructions.

I had to use a mallet o get mine all the way in. Cost me a strong black coffee and two fingernails but I did get an extra 2 gummy bears for my worry.
