AutoLoad does not work
The Autoload worked once when I first turned on the printer after a successful kit assembly. Now it will not pull the filament into the print head. I have to start the print in order together the filament to go into the printhead. What can I do to fix this? The filament sensor and autoloading are both enabled.

RE: AutoLoad does not work
This sounds just like my problem. I'll give it a try as soon as the print I am doing gets finished. I had to restart the print to get the filament to go through the extruder.
RE: AutoLoad does not work
Spacing the IR sensor off of the mount about .5+mm solved the problem. Autoloading now works very well.
The sensor indicates that there is or is not filament being loaded with the 0 or 1.
This may not be orthodox. I cut two small squares from the end of a zip tie where it is about .5mm thick. each square was about 2mm square and bonded them to either side of the screw hole that holds down the IR sensor thus spacing it about .5+mm from the mount. It worked great.
Thanks for all the help

Interesting stuff to read. Keep it up.

Hi all,
The orthodox way is here. Rather easy, I did it.
