Assembled MK3S+ first switch on stucked filament

Dear All,

I just got today our MK3S+ and after I switched on the printer said full our the filament immediatelly after the first switch on, the filament does not came out, after that I made a reset and tried autoload and unload as well but the filament does not goes anywhere, it stucked.

Do you have any idea what could be wrong?

Many thanks in advance!

Hello and welcome to the Prusaforum!

My first guess would be that, as is so often the case, the filament sensor is not adjusted correctly or wrong firmware. However, this should not happen with a fully assembled device, but I would still check it.

Statt zu klagen, dass wir nicht alles haben, was wir wollen, sollten wir lieber dankbar sein, dass wir nicht alles bekommen, was wir verdienen.

@karl-herbert

Many thanks for you reply. I checked the guide I'll try to fix this by disassembly the hotend but that is what I wanted to avoid with a brand new fully assembled printer...

@karl-herbert

I contacted the live support and they helped me out, I had to heat up the hotend to PETG setting and then I could pull out the filament and load new one. Thanks for your help!
