After full calibration... Nozzle dig into model. Z axis/bed leveling problem.

Hello,

My printer has few days, printed on it nearly perfect benchy, just like that.

But after I moved it, I redo full wizard calibration, set the first layer to -0.600. everything vent perfect, and...

On the first print I noticed that nozzle is way too low. I saved this tiny print by adjusting live z, all the way to 0, I would lift it more If I could go over 0.

Why? Why this happened?

Is it possible that z code force my printer to somehow goes too low? Or it's a hardware problem?

Please save your project as a project file, Zip compress the project file, and attach the zipfile to your next post.

Thanks for the input.

Here's project, gcode, and stl. I'm printing this: https://www.printables.com/model/265248-ratchet-toothpaste-tube-squeezer/files

Hi Kurt,

Is your First layer normally good, or is the first layer rough?

LiveZ is always supposed to be a negative number on prusa printers, If you cannot get a  good first layer with a negative number smaller than -2.000 then it is likely that your Pinda is at the wrong height.

beyond that,
you have a 0.4mm nozzle, and your first layer is set to 0.4mm with an extrusion width of 0.5mm (125%)

normal advice is to not exceed 80% layer height, compared to the nozzle diameter (0.32mm).
Is there a reason that you are laying down a heavy first layer like this?
If I want a heavy first layer, I Typically use 0.3mm layer height and 0.6mm extrusion  width.
I Also typically use 70C for the bed temperature.

regards Joan

Thanks for the info.

I might find the problem... Calibration-Z return with a fail;(

Dunno why yet. Full calibration went perfect. Eh...

It's it stock, and assembled correctly?

Pinda does work, first layer calibration does work, full printer wizard finish the job correctly, but z calibration is failing each time.

Dunno what to do. I check the YouTube, but didn't find any clues this time.

I lowered the pinda sensor.

Put together extruder again.

Installed previous firmware.

Did full calibration.

And for the first time in a week I got a perfect print.

Uffff. I hope I somehow fixed my problems and nothing bad will happen anytime soon. I bought prusa printer because it's famous from it's reliability, but what I experienced was enough to give up on printing.

I'm still fighting ;(

Please have a look: https://youtube.com/shorts/anrCHqqbBsk?si=lcdKwMf-wni1qYdm

I was worried about it since the beginning. Why hotend moves there so freely? Looks like cutouts in the housing doesn't match the hotend? Can anyone confirm those parts are compatible?

My extruder dig into bad ;( and this part is bent, I have to replace it anyway.
