A 38x42 mm. hollow cylinder takes 6 hours 36 minutes to print? What am I doing wrong?
I am a complete newbie, learning from the ground up. Both 3D printing and 3D modelling.
In preparation for the arrival of the MK3S, I learnt Fusion 360 and created a rudimentary stl file. After assembling and printing a few test files with the MK3S, I exported the stl file from Fusion 360 and sliced it with PruserSlicer, the gcode of which is attached. I would have also attached the stl file and a photograph but it seems only one attachment is allowed.
To my dismay, total print time (which was later obvious in the gcode filename) is going to by 6 hours 36 minutes. Is this normal for such a small object? Or am I doing it wrong somewhere along the line.
Could someone point me to the right direction?
Thank you.

I was unable to attach the gcode file but this is a photograph.
The object is quite small.

I should have mentioned that the object in photograph is the original produced in the traditional way (injection moulding?) NOT the 3D printed one which, at this point in time, is still printing in silver filament.

To attach anything except an image you need to zip up the files first or the forum wont accept them. Also gcode and stl are of limited use, its MUCH better to attach a saved project file from Prusa Slicer. Use File>Save Project As. This will save a *.3mf file. That 3mf file will contain the models you have on the plater and a snapshot of all the settings you are using. It allows users to much more easily debug things as they can see and adjust all the MANY settings available.
Once we have the project file people can possibly suggest ways to lower print time, especially if they know what conditions the end print will be subjected to. However from a general point of view most people new to 3d printing do not realise just how slow a process it is. They think its like a star trek replicator. I wouldn't be surprised if the final print time is still above 5 hours.
I have printed several 60+ hour prints on my cr10 with a 300x300 bed and prints of 28h on my Mk'3 arent uncommon.

Thank you for your advice, Neophyl.
I have attached a zip file of the 3mf file. If you have time, please take a look.
Thank you.

I just looked, for the first time, at PrusaSlicer Print Settings > System Presets.
Perhaps System Presets could be set "lower down"?
Right now, its 0.05 mm ULTRADETAIL.
RE:
You just answered your own question. There are presets for different layer heights. A layer height of .05 is extremely small. You can print this at a layer height of .2 and it will print a lot faster. Please study this https://help.prusa3d.com/en/article/first-print-with-prusaslicer_1753
Mk3S+,SL1S
Hell, it's a bushing. Print it at .3mm layer height
It will take about 30 minutes and be ready to use.

Agree with Dan. Change to the 0.3 draft profile, bump the perimeters up from 2 to 3 and make the bottom layers 4 like the top and slice. 41 minute print then and it will be stronger due to the third perimeter.
