1st print chunk missing
Printer: MK3S (Kit), Self-Test: Passed, Z-Calibrated, Material: PLA
Slic3r Settings - PLA Default, additional walls, lower % infill, Draft setting
If you could average my first three prints it'd be perfect. The part I'm trying to print is a stubby pipe/cylinder with a bore in it. I've printed 3 so far and have had different results with each print - one print a chunk is missing out of the bottom (but the top layer is perfect), one is all messed up on top but the bottom layer is perfect, and the third the defect occurred in the middle layers.
Has anyone come across something like this? The defect always occurs on the same side, (Hotend cooling fan side). I've tried tightening the fan down to see if that was deforming the layers to no effect.
