Kein Druck funktioniert mehr
Hallo zusammen,
ich habe das Problem das meine erste Schicht nicht mehr hält. Das Problem kam schlagartig, wir haben mehrere Teile gedruckt ohne Probleme mit hervorragender Qualität gedruckt. Als wir am nächsten Tag das exakt gleiche Teil drucken wollten haben wir keine erste Schicht mehr hinbekommen.
Ich führe mal auf was wir dann alles unternommen haben:
- Neue Druckplatte verwendet da wir dachten vielleicht ist die alte nicht mehr i.O. - keine Besserung
- verschiedene Materialien versuch PLA, ABS, PETG, Nylon - nichts hält mehr
- mehrere Versuche der ersten Schicht Kalibrierung - funktioniert ebenfalls nicht, da nix hält
- Druckplatte mit UHU bestrichen - Filament hält trotzdem nicht
Ich habe dann beim entladen des PETG Filaments, aus versehen auf die Druckplatte gefasst und gemerkt das diese nicht wirklich heiß ist. Wir haben diese dann mit einem digitalen Wärmethermometer geprüft und kamen hier auf 48°. Nach Rücksprache mit dem Support von Prusa meinten diese das die Temperatur abweichen könnte. Aber keine 30-40° meiner Meinung nach. Wir haben dann das Druckbett so hoch erwärmt das wir 60° gemessen haben (konnten es auch noch anfassen) auf dem Dispaly waren es 105°. Jedoch hat hier wieder keine Filament gehalten.
Anschließend haben wir die Extrusionsgeschwindigkeit erhöht, dies führte aber leider auch nicht zum Erfolg.
Ich hoffe uns kann hier einer helfen da der Support mir nicht mehr helfen kann, und ich keine Rückmeldung mehr bekomme.
Wir haben auch noch das Softwareupdate danach durchgeführt hat aber auch nichts gebracht.

Sorry - my German is weak and rusty and I am using Google to translate, so I may be misreading. But often when plastic is not adhering to the build plate (PEI bed), the bed is contaminated with oils.
PLA requires a clean PEI sheet: and soap and water are best for removing the oils left by fingerprints and handling. Some brands of PETG also require a clean bed (many PETG brands need a release agent like Windex or GluStik or risk damaging the PEI when removing parts). I don't print ABS, but I've read it requires an adhesive material (GluStik or ABS Juice).
Here's my Soap and Water Wash:
Alcohol rinse: every few prints
- Gloves recommended.
- Once in a while, an alcohol rinse is helpful to remove PLA residue. It does not remove finger oils well.
- Pour a 5 cm puddle of 91%+ alcohol in the middle of the bed, with clean hands use a fresh paper towel to scrub the bed. Wipe up all the alcohol.
Acetone wash: infrequent
- Pour a 2 cm puddle of acetone on the bed, scrub it around with a fresh paper towel. It will evaporate fast as you clean. This step removes PEI oxides that form over time and with heat, and improves PLA adhesion to a like new state.
Hot Water wash: often, as needed, and after any of the above
- Handle the bed only by the edges.
- Wash the bed in hot water, use a fresh paper towel as a wash cloth, with a few drops of plain dish soap (Dawn, unscented, no anti-bacterial, etc.).
- Rinse well in hot water - if you have very soft water, rinse a bit longer.
- Dry the bed with a fresh paper towel.
- Handle the bed only by the edges.
- Place bed on printer.
Streak test: when contamination is suspected
- With a fresh piece of paper towel, and very clean fingers, dampen the towel with 91%+ alcohol, and wipe the bed side to side moving back to front, like you're painting it with alcohol. The alcohol should be thin enough on the towel it quickly evaporates. If you see any streaks, the bed is dirty and needs a wash.

Hallo zusammen,
das Problem scheint behoben. Alle Antworten vom Support und auch die Antwort von tim-m30 haben nichts gebracht. Wir haben alles zerlegt, gereinigt, gemessen, geprüft und tausende von Testdrucken gemacht.
Jetzt haben wir nichts anderes gemacht, wie den Drucker komplett zu reseten, und siehe da alles funktioniert wieder. Jetzt heizt das Druckbett auch wieder hoch und alles passt wieder soweit. Wir werden nach den Testdrucken nun die neue Software wieder draufspielen und hoffen das alles dann immer noch funktioniert. Nicht das Prusa das gleiche Problem bekommt wie Apple oder Microsoft 😉 .
