that is not an option that I am aware of...
some folk monitor the printer with Octoprint, and use a remote control power switch to turn the printer off after the extruder cools below 50C

Your TV remote has a power button, but it doesn't really turn off all the electronics. Prusa is doing something similar. There are commands inserted in the custom gcode do something similar - i.e., shut down the motors and heaters, the primary power consumers. The printer goes into a lower power idle state. Though the Mk3 LCD backlight can't be turned off this way.
But I prink Prusa is thinking about doing this in some upcoming printer: they have placeholders in the gcode.
