mk3.9 - X axis layer shift - right end seems wrong

Problem:

Printing model with a point at the right-hand boundary of the build plate.  When the printer creates the outermost shell at that point, I hear the printer clunk into the right end and the layer shifts left slightly.  The following picture shows what I am describing.  Interestingly it appears there is a lot of room in this picture, but in silcer you can clearly see it is right at the boundary.

layer shifted left when right extremity is printed.

When building I was worried about the cable cover on the right side of the extruder, but it appeared to me that the bearings and all were seating on that side and that things were not blocked by this cover.  I reseated it today and might have gotten it somewhat tighter against the body of the extruder, but I still do not see it being in the way, actually.  Still - I am unsure.

What do you all think?  It's a minor issue, it's just that Prusaslicer placed the item here so I would think it would work fine, but alas, it does not.  As a workaround, I simply moved the object a bit to the left (plenty of room for that) and am printing it again.  But I was not able to get it to print successfully where Prusaslicer placed it.  My minor worry is that if I don't have the ability to move it later on and slicer things it has room, it makes me think I have a physical problem with the printer that I would like to address.

I'm happy to share anything that might make it easier to see what's going on.  Thanks for any assistance or thoughts on how to proceed here.

I decided to reslice the original PSU cover with a blocker that eliminates the portion of the PSU cover that interferes with the extruder cable support bracket in the lower Z heights and in X values near 250mm.  I went ahead and published this as a model/remix on printables.  This has eliminated the problem until I get a better answer from Prusa support.  At this point it is fixed for me and I'm happy enough with the solution, recognizing there are probably better solutions.

I was reading another thread (posted after this one) about warping when I saw this excerpt:

"But i only rarely use the full width also i cant use every last millimeter of the print width because i have the silver PSU and some of the plastic on it steals a few millimeters on the right side."

It indeed does appear that in the first few layers of the print, the plastic on the inside of the silver PSU interferes with the right-most part of the build plate.  I think this answers my question.  I am working to speak with support about this to verify.

Just another update into the void here.  Prusa Support initially told me emphatically that the silver PSU should not interfere with the X axis making it all the way to the 250mm position.  This initial response appears to be made in error, although they are escalating and have suggested they could get back to me via email in a few days after they have time to review.

While I am not above making an error in assembling the printer, and would be extremely happy to find out there was a mistake or something I can adjust, my expectation is that we will eventually confirm this is in fact a problem that I cannot address short of making changes to the bottom plastic part of the Silver PSU, upgrading to the black PSU, or by simply avoiding using the right-most extreme few mm of the build plate.

The downside to the last option is that prusaslicer does not automatically avoid that area, so auto arranging parts will cause the interference and cause printing issues.

At this point I am thinking about jacking around with the silver PSU mount.  That's the "free" option, I think.
