LCD Print Speed
Hello community. I recently bought a Prusa MK3S+ and I have doubts about the operation of the printing speed on the LCD. Up to what percentage value can I increase it? 200%?300% Do I have chances of damaging the printer? In the Prusa Slicer where I see the configuration of this parameter
Thank You
RE: LCD Print Speed
If you succeed in forcing the printer to 300% you may get unexpected results,
turning the LCD Knob will only increase the speed until the maximum speeds in firmware are achieved, then it will go no faster irrespective of what the screen says. If you change the maximum speeds and acceleration values as well, you could cause the printer to become unstable and miss steps or exceed the ability of the extruder to melt sufficient filament to print properly. why are you trying to increase the speed so much?
If you look at this link
https://marlinfw.org/meta/gcode/
you should find that G-code
M220 S110
will set the feed rate to 110%
M220 S75
will lower the feed rate to 75%
However, not all feed rates change with this command
IIRC travel speed is not changed
You may want to look at the cooling settings, these can slow the printer if the layer time is low. which may be giving you issues
