Head lifts when going positive on x

I have a problem where my print head will lift slightly when going +x causing adhesion problems. I've confirmed it by lightly pushing on top of the head when it's traveling positively in the x and it lays the filament perfectly. It doesn't do this in any other direction.

I'm thinking it may have to do with when the belt pulls the head to the right it tilts it backwards somewhat.

Not sure how to adjust or correct this. Are the bearings or parts in the head not secure enough? Maybe I have to adjust the belt position in the head?
Thanks!

could the filament be binding more in one direction, causing the print head to lift?

Is this a simple lift or is there some twisting as well?

This is a first layer issue, right out the gate. The very first positive X line and any positive X lines after that are slightly higher preventing it from sticking to the bed at all.

Other layers don't have a problem with it even though it's still happening because it's adhering to the plastic under it, not a print bed. So a couple microns of lift doesn't cause the same problems as the first layer.

Cheerio,

Not sure what you mean. What would be twisting? The entire head? The lift is so small it's only a couple microns, enough to cause first layer adhesion issues but not to the point I can easily see it happen. So I can't catch exactly how it's lifting.

Like I said I strongly feel it's the belt pulling on the head to the right when going +X that makes it tilt slightly back. It's pulling on it at an angle that tilts it back a bit causing the nozzle to be a bit further from the bed.

Thanks for the help guys, I figured it out!!

As you can see in the first photo the bearing for the Z axis was pushed down against the other bearing. That basically gave the x axis a twist/tilt when being pulled positively. It's not supposed to be like that.

The second picture shows how it's supposed to be and now prints perfectly!
