Extruder can load filament but not print

Hello I try to usually fix issues on my own and ive tried to find some solutions here prior to asking but it seems most of the posts havent given results. I have a Prusa mk3s+ and last night i made a succesful 6 hr long print on PLA. I put in a 16 minute print of a circular piece and walk away (yes taboo but i was confident from the 6 hr one) and when i check back i just have a ghostly trail (no object just small theads almost like dust of the print) of what was supposed to be my print. I assumed the extruder was clogged so ive done cold pulls, and when i feed the filament back it extrudes it just fine, but when i hit print the extruder just refuses to take in the filament. I used the first layer adjustment to confirm if this was a gcode isssue. When loading the filament it does extrude 0.4mm strings when asking for the right color. I have not changed filaments. Ive also tried using the small clog needles and i did hear a light air noise when thrusting it. The machine is not clicking, but i do not have a magnet to see the extruder spin. I can see the filament rotor/bearings spinning on the side and ive tried forcefully pushing the filament while adjusting the tightness of the extruder filament bearings. Im holding off of removing the nozzle because i no longer have the tools to open it in my new apartment.

tldr: If the printer extrudes filament when loading, why wont it extrude during a print?
