I have just completed a successful upgrade of my old faithful MK3 into a MK3.9. She passed all tests on the first try and printed a flawless benchy. Outstanding job on the assembly instructions.

So what's the difference in a MK3.9 and a MK4 then?

The difference is - the double precision stepper motors do not come with the 3.9 upgrade
the MK4 upgrade kit includes the stepper motors

The Mk4 also has a Posh (Die Cast) Frame and a Posh (Die Cast) Y Platform
apart from aesthetics these die cast parts don't do much more than the lasercut parts on the earlier printers
