mk3.9 upgrade (from mk3s, from mk3 very original) fail XY test
The axis move fine when belt is removed etc. When I skip the initial calibration and move the axis from he "control" menu, starting from 0,0 max right on X shows about 120mm on the distance and max Y a bit over 110 (afairecall).
It seems like the steps are too large by about a factor of two. I removed the Y pulley and counted the teeth, it's 16 teeth as it should be.
Firmware file on the usb stick was 5.0.0 with same date as the file inside the 5.0.0 zip I downloaded.
When calibration starts it moves the X axis around, repeatedly hitting the left (0) end hard, then eventually it goes to right end and back to left not hitting so hard, then moves on to y which just keeps hitting top (0) end hard repeatedly, sometimes just trying to force past it, never coming back down more than a bit (so not trying to seek the max Y value).
I'm really starting to run out of ideas.
Can someone with successful upgrade post a video of the full self-test procedure ? I'll record and example of my weirdness tomorrow-ish when I put the Y axis back together.

video of the self test and seemingly oversized xy steps

hmmh "The MK4 comes with redesigned, more robust plastic parts and new precise 0.9° stepper motors (0.9° / step; low inductance) on the X and Y axes" I wonder if the firmaware autodetect between mk3.9 and mk4 is broken...

Mine was doing that and cause the belts were too loose, Im currently having the problem with the z axis keeps failing no matter what I do
