Error - Changing Infillstyle Mid-Print

Hello everyone,

I am having troubles lately (since march, all fine before that) with all of my prints. The things I noticed are changing infill-styles (top corner: 20% mesh-infill as sliced, rest is somewhat close to 100% straightlined crossed).

The main problem is that at some point (random) the filament connection breaks and the print wont be continued (printing in the air, making a mess).

Any ideas what i do wrong/what changed?

What filament is this?

Try changing to cubic infill.

Hi,

I use PLA. 0.2 speed or 0.3 draft.

My slicer had 6 massive button and top layers, as well as a high number of perimeter in its options. That's what caused the different infill-patterns.

I reduced those numbers and am doing testprints right now. 2/2 failed: bad layer-connection.

Is there a way to reset all slicer options? Maybe I should start there
