Z Home Problem

I've noticed since the 3.1.0 firmware update, the Z home doesn't move the PINDA over the front left locator spot. Now it goes down to what it thinks is .15 mm and then stops there. The problem is that if its looking for home, it should be moving over the bed level locator spot.

Now, since it drops below what it should, it has caused an indentation in the front left corner of the bed. Not a huge concern for myself as its outside of the print area, but this shouldn't be happening.

Note: Not sure if one of the reason is due to using a Hardened Steel nozzle. The nozzle is slightly taller than the default one. Possible the firmware just assumes that the standard nozzle is present and thinks it is placing it just above the bed when its not.

You probably need to readjust your Pinda sensor. With the longer steel nozzle the Pinda is still registering correctly but the nozzle is closer to the bed and that's where the problem is.

Re: Z Home Problem

I already calibrated it and had no problems. And my live z is only around -300. I will try calibration again and see if it helps.
