X-belt mangled. Any ideas how?
Suddenly from one day to another the auto bed levelling started failing and the self test started telling me I was sure to have a loose pulley. So I checked the pulley, everything fine. Checked the belt tension, hmmm could be better, so let's tighten that up a bit. But no go. But test prints were showing severe backlash in the X- direction:
So after again looking at everything carefully I finally found this with my x belt 😯 :
There are actually pieces of metal string sticking out, so that belt is seriously fucked.
I'll get a new one of course, but does anyone have any idea _how_ something like that could happen?

might such a thing happen when you use some force to detach a printed object from the heatbed, while the bed is actually already located at one end ?
