What is the recommended enclosure for Original Prusa i3 MK2?

I just received my i3 MK2 kit yesterday and I'm planning to assemble it over the weekend. Since I'm going to use it indoors in my home-office, I'm concerned about smoke, fume and smells inside the house and of-course safety especially when there are kids around.

I will be using PLA only initially (which I believe dont put out a lot of smoke), but still I would like to know whether there are any ready-to-buy enclosures specifically made for i3 MK2. If not, do we have any recommendations on how to build a DIY enclosure using acrylic parts?

Maybe, can I buy a cheap acrylic or glass aquarium (or fish-tank) large enough to hold the MK2 and use it as a permanent enclosure for long term?

Please provide suggestions and best practices.

Never really had an issue with PLA needing an enclosure, but anything else, yeah. I have it in its own room but at some point will just make a enclosure from MDF and some plexiglass. If you search on Thingiverse theres quite a few designs that use Ikea Lack tables, etc. Some even get clear plastic totes and hack up enclosures that way.

Yeah, its that guy... 3D Nexus

Here is my flavour of McGuyvering an enclosure with filter. Works well!

I am currently building this.

You just need 2 lacks and 4 sheets of acrylic glass. I didn't go all out like they did with all the temp stuff. I just got 4 sheets of glass, 2 ikea lack tables and bolted them together. Got some cheap hatchbox filament holders and bolted that to the top.

I wanted an enclosure that is portable so if I travel I can bring my hobby with me:

You can cover it with a blanket, painters plastic, or glass.

The openings can be easily modified with wire or 3D printed parts. I plan on making the side and top open like a gull wing. The top will have enough support for multiple spools. Printing tools can clip on to the sides of the cage. If you need to print ABS you can put the setup on the porch or balcony on a nice day and not have to worry about a fume management.

We have found that pla does not require and enclosure to print correctly. It will help with the noise. ABS and sometimes PET we use a printer with an enclosure to help it print correctly.
Buy the way, I would like to find a nice enclosure that would cut down on the Noise for our PRUSA printers, if any one has a suggestion.

None. Just control the humidity and temperature in the room your printer resides. Do not print early in the morning in Winter.
