What happened halfway?

I started the print last night ~10pm, checked on it at 8am, everything was printing fine. I come back after work to find the final 8 hours are totally screwy.
Any ideas/answers to what might have caused this to happen?

Re: What happened halfway?

Looks like, for some reason, your filament is not extruding.

Possible causes:
1) Filament bound on the spool.
2) Filament holder is too tight and preventing easy feeding.
3) Tension adjust is too tight or too loose. More likely too tight.
4) Clog in print head from debris, too high a heat, poor cooling fan (side).
5) Tolerance of filament has a bad spot, causing a clog.
6) Bad wiring to extruder fan or to extruder itself (exacerbated by height of head making connection intermittent.)

Let us know what looking at these reveal.

Answer -

2part -
1. Tension adjust was too tight. This caused the filament to not print well during terminations as the retraction didn't exactly work.
2. After a quick fix of "change filament," as per a suggestion on a different thread, the printer had stopped printing because there was too much of a backup because of the tension being too tight.
