What could be causing this pattern on the z-axis?
Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and have been enjoying my MK2 for hundreds of hours. Recently i have noticed really bad layer quality and wanted to ask for help. I ran the hotend at temps from 200 to 235 and the z pattern is still prevalent. It almost looks like z wobble except it happens at much greater frequency compared to the pitch of the lead screw. Some of my other prints are showing under extrusion and I was curious if under extrusion could be causing the defect. If not, then what is causing it?
I don't seem able to add attachments. How can I share pictures on this forum?
Thank you!

I think you need to make a few more posts before you can attach pictures (I think 3?), but you can also upload them to a site like imgur.com and attach them using the "Img" button above the text field when making a post. Definitely will need to see photos of what you're talking about to offer any help.

Just create a new post and drag an image file onto the test box.

Thanks for the quick reply! I have attached a photo that has the defect in question encircled. Of note is that the same gcode was ran a week earlier without the print showing this defect. Thank you again!
