v6 nozzle change
Hello everybody,
any tips on changing the v6 nozzle?
I've tried following e3d's method (heat up to 285C and turn) but I haven't managed it without moving the whole body of the hotend. Holding the heater block with anything just leads to surface abrasions.

Raise Z axis to at least 100mm, heat the nozzle and remove the filament. You may need to work from the rear of the printer.
You may want to remove the probe to avoid any damage there and also the part fan.
You need to hold the heater block with a properly fitting spanner (16 or 17mm I think). When hot, the nozzle will unscrew with a 7mm ring smaller.

I wouldn't think so, but I have only had to change nozzles on a Mk1 so far (that is fitted with a V6); my Mk2 has not required a new nozzle as yet (I expect nozzles to last more than 3 months of continuous use).

On my older printer I use a specific nozzle for each material, I've found it helps alleviate certain problems when switching, so I was hoping to implement the same system with the v6. Sometimes I like to do quick tests with .8 or even 1mm so quick change-overs are really useful; I'm not throwing them out.
