Turning off Bed heating after 5 layers
Hi!
Did anyone try to turn off the Bed heating after let's say 5 layers? Does it have an impact on PLA or ABS printing?

Personally, I don't think that would be a good idea. The PEI is supposed to release the part at room temp, so I guess that is quite likely to happen.
On the Mk1, my heater failed during a print, but the print stuch as it was PLA and I had applied glue prior to the print. I was expecting the part to fall off though.
