Same here. You had your error a bit before me, so I wonder if you've heard anything from support?

If the printer was previously working fine, then this behaviour is probably an indication there is a break in the thermistor cable or the thermistor has worked loose from the kapton tape under the bed.

Re: Selftest error ! Please check: Heater/Thermistor Not connected

I just finished building the i3 Mk3.

I updated the firmware before I ran the self-test.

When I ran the self-test for the first time and I got the “Please check / Not connected – Heater / Thermistor” error.
I am trying to match the error message to the printer cables.

Is this the Thermistor cables refering to the Headbed Thermistor or the Extruder Thermistor cable or both?
Is the hotend power cables the same as the Extruder heater?

Any thoughts on how to debug this problem?

Re: Selftest error ! Please check: Heater/Thermistor Not connected

Actually, I just got past that. Ended up re-seating the wires in the EINSY, and it still didn't work. Wiggled the wires some more, and since I was getting tired of opening/closing the board cover, I left it open. And somehow, when I turned it on, it passed the test. So I jumped up and closed the cover real quick. Maybe I had a kink in one of the wires or something. But honestly, the last time, I really didn't wiggle the wires much, and somehow it made a difference...

GL!

Contact the live chat. They will guide you through the steps you need to check.
In general Heater and Thermistor can be checked manually by measuring the resistance. Wiggle the cables while measuring to make sure there is no breaking cable/connection.

Re: Selftest error ! Please check: Heater/Thermistor Not connected

I have the same probleme after upgrading to MK2.5s.
I have changed the cable, the thermistor now I fear that the RAMBO might be broken.

Is there a way to self test the RAMBO ?

Thanks
