selftest error heated/thermistor not connected
I just finish building the Original Prusa i3 MK2S, when I do the selftest, everything passes, except the bed doesn't heat :(, I check the connections and everything is according to manual, is there anyway to debug it? I have a multi-meter. What should I do?
Re: selftest error heated/thermistor not connected
I did some more debugging, and I found two sources that seam helpful,
This one which explains that the 15A fuse, should have 0.8 Ohm for resistance, which it has,

and this one which helps trouble shooting the printer:
Here I noticed that my temperature display 23 c for both, Josef mentions that it should be around 30 c, is 23 around 30 c?
How do I know if the thermistor cable is broken, if I am not able to access the other end because of the yellow tape?
Re: selftest error heated/thermistor not connected
Hi!
I've had some issues with the bed thermistors where the cables developed faults.
Since you have a multimeter available you can try this procedure: http://help.prusa3d.com/l/en/article/0t79v2VTk2-heatbed-not-heating-up-properly
If your thermistor is faulty you should contact the support and let them know what you found. Take pictures/video 🙂
Good luck!
