Re: Reaching out to Canadians

Wait, Voxel Factory takes out the gummies and the Prusa Filament? Wish I would have known this before ordering from them.

It just isn't a Prusa without Haribo 👿

I also ordered (and just received) from Voxel.

No issues at all, kit was actually available ahead of estimated schedule.

Filament from Prusa not in the box, however they gave me a 1kg spool of filament of the color I picked.

The candy bag was in the kit and tasted great 🙂

they look like a good bunch of people and are very responsive to any questions I had.

Re: Reaching out to Canadians

Hi all,

François from Voxel Factory here.

You guys are all awesome! Thanks for your support to our store.

It's a pleasure to distribute the Prusa Research kit in Canada and Prusa team are really nice people! We have a good cooperation with them and despite the crazy amount of DIY kit they sell each month, they keep up with the workload and everything is going smoothly with them since months.

We are not often on social media as we are growing and it takes a lot of time improving the physical store, website, accounting software integration, adding new products etc but we definitly read you often and it's always a pleasure. Customer even show up in store showing us what you all say about us.

So just to clarify a couples of things that are very often asked :

1- Buying from Voxel Factory means you have a first line of support in Canada and if ever we fail to reply properly, if your question is beyond our knowledge or a warranty issue, Prusa Research team is also here for you.

2- No we never stole ANY candys in any box! What do you think? Sometimes candys are just not in the boxes, that happens. We don't really have a sweet tooth anyway but if they ever start adding beer in their kits, start worrying 😉

3- Regarding the filament spool, we agreed with Prusa Research on a small discount without PLA spool in the kit and instead, we add a 1Kg spool of your choice of Materio3D PLA, a brand new Canadian made PLA filament. <shamelessplug> https://www.materio3d.com for more infos </shamelessplug>

Hope that helps clarify a couple of things and again, thanks for your awesome support to Voxel Factory, that help us grow and improve our offer to Canadian customers.

Cheers 🙂

Oh very cool. I was unaware of Voxel Factory or Materio3D until now. Will definitely keep you folks in mind for my next round of filament purchases.

Re: Reaching out to Canadians

I purchased my MK2s from Voxel Factory in July 2017 as I believe in supporting local businesses based in Montreal area.

I was very pleased with their service. Pricing was reasonable. Quick reply to emails. The only downside is that Voxel Factory doesn't give the option of buying an all-black printer kit. Although I cannot fault them for this, I would have liked to have the option.

EDIT: I can confirm that my Haribo gummy bears was indeed in the box 🙂

I would recommend Voxel Factory to anyone looking to buy a genuine Prusa printer/parts.
