Prusa i3 mk2 upgrade to 2.0.0 caused z axis steps per unit problem
I have had a Prusa i3 mk2 for about 2 years and it was working great until I upgraded to version 2.0.0. I have applied no hardware upgrades. I now have the problem that the z axis moves one tenth the distance it should. Command to move the z axis by 10 mm causes movement of 1 mm. I have tried many things to fix the problem with no luck. Increasing the steps per mm to 4000 not work. Help please.

There are several versions of the firmware offered to correspond to the different printer model specifications. It sounds like you downloaded and installed the wrong one.
Download again - making sure you get the right version for your model and re-update. The problem should go away.

I have upgraded to the latest software and firmware. I still have the problem of z axis moving one tenth the distance it should. The z axis also moves slow. After loading the new firmware (3.1.0) I issued the code M502 from Pronterface, then code M500. In selecting the firmware I followed the instructions on the Drivers and Manuals web page.
