Problem printing a simple cylinder

Im having strange problems for printing a simple cylinder. I create the model in Fusion 360.

This is my STL: <link removed by admin, links to pay-sites / filehosters are not welcome.>

Then I add that into Sli3r and Generate G Code. When printing, it starts printing the base of the cylinder, after the base is done it suddently goes up Z axis to the top of the cylinder trying to print there in the middle of the air instead of going from bottom to top. 😯

Any clue? Appreciate it

the wall's of the cylinder are far to thin !

they need to be at least the extrusion width (approx. 0.48mm with a 0.4mm nozzle). to be at the save site (following the sampling theorem), they should be at least twice the extrusion width.

with these thin walls that you've designed, the slicer only "can see" the base, and nothing else.

dem inscheniör is' nix zu schwör...

Out of curiosity, I ran your file through the PrusaControl program and sliced it. When loading the file you see a cylinder which looks to have a bottom, top and sides. After slicing and I move the cursor up you will see the various layers for the bottom and then layers for the top. There appears to be no layers for the sides.

The side walls in the last file you uploaded are .4mm thick and the top & bottom walls are .8mm thick.

The first file you uploaded has .25mm side walls .4mm bottom and no top.

Try this file (.8mm walls all around).

You can also achieve the same result by creating a solid cylinder then slicing it with 0% infill, 2 perimeters, and 2 top & bottom layers.
